AN EXTRAORDINARY HEBREW WORD

THE TRUE SIGNIFICANCE OF AMAN

Significance of Aman

This powerful word is related to the word אמונה (Emunah) which means “faith.” Interestingly, Aman is classified as an adjective that describes states and moods. When a person says, “Aman,” they commit themselves to a state of praise in conscious agreement, judgment, and faith. In the Scriptures, having faith is not just a question of being spiritually awake, but of being so firmly committed to one’s religious identity which is fully and completely who they are in every aspect of their lives. This is why Yahusha (Jesus) tells lukewarm believers He is the “Aman” (Rev 3:14).

While “Aman” has but one spelling in the original Hebrew, it can be pronounced in one of seven ways in Scripture (counting the Greek pronunciation) to focus greater attention on one particular aspect of its meaning. It may be pronounced: Oh·men – The truth or to fully trust in; Aw·mane – Let it be so or so be it; Aw·mawn – A skilled master workman, the work of His hand; Aw·man – To choose the right or go to the right; Am·an – To confirm, support or uphold, Aw·man – A verified belief and sure faith, and in Greek, A·men – A sure, steady, trustworthy truth. Therefore, “Aman” can carry the meaning of... a skilled master workman who faithfully renders, verifies, supports and upholds truth in a sure belief of the One True God; Yahuah, in His Word and to His praise and glory... Amen!

There simply seemed to be no better word to identify and associate what we desired to do in our ministry. And, no matter how it is pronounced... it is always good! We emphasize the Aw·mawn, a skilled master workman... and we seek the work of His hands... in truth.

Our Ministry

Our Ministry...

is a scripturally founded and based non-denominational ministry devoted to the prophetic message of Yahuah (יהוה/God) and Yahusha HaMashiach (Jesus the Christ) as Israel’s foretold Messiah and the Savior of the World. Our primary focus lies in seeking out, discovering and understanding God’s truth from His chosen Hebraic perspective in the Tanakh (Old Testament) and in the B’rit Chadasha (New Testament). The “Church” as a whole lost this understanding and wisdom and continues to place little emphasis on the Tanakh today. While the Jews have retained a good deal of this knowledge and wisdom, they reject Jewish authored B’rit Chadasha (New Testament). Their rejection is in no small part, due to the errors of certain “Church” doctrines which neither Yahusha (Jesus) nor His disciples ever followed or taught. We seek to stand in that “gap” by applying the proper and essential Hebraic knowledge and wisdom to the B’rit Chadasha (New Testament)... and then uniting this in perfect harmony to the Tanakh. In this, we seek the unified message of the singular truth of the “One” true God. We then freely share what we have come to understand and He has graciously shared with us, providing it to all who are seeking His Kingdom first and desiring only to worship Him in Spirit and in truth (Jn 4:23-24).

Our Vision

Our Vision...

is to create a God-glorifying passion in every believer to be fully obedient to the Word of God in all that He has commanded us. For in this we can achieve the highest expression of love which can be given to our Creator. As we then do this, our greatest command is to make disciples of all people everywhere and thereby fulfill the Great Commission with the firm understanding that prophecy is God’s chosen method of evangelism and “the testimony of Yahusha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) is the spirit of prophecy” (Rev 19:10).

Our Goal

Our Goal...

is first, to educate all believers everywhere in a Hebraic understanding of the Scriptural (Biblical) prophecies. We believe this became and remains the most greatly neglected and highly misunderstood area of Scriptural understanding. Prophecy is the single greatest and most pervasive attribute of the Holy Scriptures apart from truth. And, there is a reason for this. Prophecy is the Divine attribute which God’s offers as the proof that all He has said is the truth. We make every effort to not quench the Spirit, not despise (hold in low regard) prophecy by testing all things and holding fast to that which is good (1 Thes 5:21). “That which is good” is anything; which when scripturally tested, aligns perfectly and is in complete harmony with Holy Scripture being without any contradiction what-so-ever.

We seek to remain ever watchful as to what God is doing and to reach out to all whom God would call by presenting God’s truth as we know it... to share God’s truth as He reveals it... and to yield to God’s truth as we find it and come to understand it. We seek to share His Word with all patience, convince with all truth, rebuke when necessary in peace, warn with all urgency and encourage one another daily in His grace as we see Yahusha’s return and the Great Day of Yahuah (the Day of the Lord) approaching. But in all we do, we seek above all else to love unconditionally as He loves us. If we do not have this above all else...we have nothing (1 Cor 13:2). Love overcomes and conquers all (Jn 3:16-17, 15:13; 16:33; 1 Jn 3:16-17).

Amen, Amen, and... Aman!

Shalom and Blessings to all...
